Initially, Anita made her Television debut with the series, ‘Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Saheii’, in 2001. She made her acting debut in the film industry, with the Telugu film, ‘Nuvvu Nenu’, in 2001. And later made her acting debut in the Tamil film industry, through the film, ‘Samurai’, in 2002, where she played a supporting role. She made her Hindi debut, through the film, ‘Kucch To Hai’, in 2003 and later was seen in movies Krishna Cottage and Koi Aap Sa. Including these, she was also seen in many Tamil and Telugu films. She has also played the role of the lead actress, in the Hindi series, ‘Kavyanjali. Currently, she is seen in the Hindi series, ‘Yeh hai Mohabbatein’, where she plays a negative role. She was also one of the contestants in the dance reality competition, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, where she made a wild card entry.
